Counted Thread Category from 2011 Judged Show

Counted Thread category is for cross stitch produced on an evenweave fabric by counting threads in the foundation fabric and carrying each stitch over a definite number of threads. This type of embroidery requires no design marking on the foundation fabric. Both traditional counted cross stitch and stamped crossed stitch are permissible.
