Combined Quilting Categories from 2011 Judged Show

This page showcases the combined quilting categories which are: Pieced, Applique, Whole Cloth, and Small Quilted Item. Pieced Quilting is two or more layers stitched together, the top is several pieces sewn together. This is further divided into two groups: a) 42"x54" or smaller, or b) larger than 42"x54". Applique Quilting is two or more layers stitched together, the top is composed of design motifs sewn onto a foundation fabric. Further divided into two groups: a) 42"x54" or smaller, or b) larger than 42"x54". Whole Cloth Quilting is two or more layers stitched together, the top is one piece of fabric. Further divided into two groups: a) 42"x54" or smaller, or b) larger than 42"x54". Small Quilted Items can be pillows, totes, miniatures, etc. They may be pieced, applique or whole cloth.
