Halloween Party Fun

Everyone loves a party and what's a party without games and decorations?
Here a three simple and fun projects to help make your mini party a hit!
These items are for personal use only and not intended for resale. Enjoy!
What you will need:

Apple Bobbing:
Miniature wash tub or barrel
A branch of fake berries for real life decorations
Two part resin and hardener
Measuring spoons
Water
Brown paint (optional)
Sponge (optional)

Halloween Pinata:
Halloween themed erasers
Thread
Tacky Glue
Mousepad
Tissue or crepe paper
1-hole punch (1/4" in diameter)
Ball stylus, plastic pen, or blunt dental tool
Toothpicks
Tweezers (optional)

Party Wreath
Raffia
Tacky Glue
Clothespin, or similar clamp
Scissors
Halloween confetti
1/8" ( mm) ribbon

Apple Bobbing: Step 1
Using the water and measuring spoons, determine how much liquid will be needed to reach you desired water level in the washtub. Mine needed 1 and 3/4 teaspoons.
Step 2
If you would like your metal washtub to be aged, use some brown paint and a wet sponge to dab a brwon wash all over the tub.
Don't forget the inside. While your paint dries pop berries off of the stem to be your apples.
You could also make apples from polymer clay if you wanted to.
Step 3
After the paint has dried mix equal parts resin and hardener together in a disposable container.
I suggest that you not use your good measuring spoons for this.
Either "eyeball" the ammount or use a set of spoons that you don't mind using only for resin.
Step 4
Pour your resin into the wash tub in layers. Don't worry about making bubbles since there would
really be bubbles in a tub full of water and apples.
Add your apples to the resin in between your layers.
Set aside to cure.
Halloween Pinata: Step 1
Spread glue on one side of one eraser. Cut a length of thread to act as a hanger
and set it into the glue. Place the other eraser on to the glue.
Step 2
While the glue dries punch several circles from the tissue paper.
Using your stylus tool press the circles into the mousepad to form small cups.
Step 3
Begin gluing the paper cups to the sides of the erasers.
Be sure to place them as close together as possible so the sides are completely covered.
Step 4
Set aside to dry.
Party Wreath: Step 1
Start with three pieces of raffia that are approximately 18" (46 cm) in length.
Wrap the raffia around two fingers until completely in a circle.
Use the clothespin to hold the circle togehter while you cut the next section of raffia.
Step 2
Cut three more lengths of raffia. They need to be 2 to 3 feet (60 -90cm)in length.
Begin wrapping the new raffia around the original circle until you are happy with the
thickness of the wreath.
Step 3
Glue the loose raffia to the wreath and clap with a clothespin until dry.
Step 4
Cut a length of ribbon to wrap around the wreath. I used one that was about 8" (20 cm).
A longer length will give more turns around the wreath. Glue your ribbon in place.
I used a synthetic satin ribbon for this project, as that is what I had on hand.
That type of ribbon doesn't make small bows very well, so I omitted a bow.
If you happen to have silk ribbon handy, I think a bow would be a very nice addition.
Step 5
Decorate your wreath with your Halloween confetti. I used a jack o'lantern piece and two Halloween cats.
I have also found adorable bats, ghosts, and spiders which would also be great.
