Well, it's been a while since I've updated, so I suppose I should do so.
First off, the Duck Creek Technologies thing didn't work out. Unfortunately I got the FOAD letter a little less than two weeks ago. On the other hand, I appreciated that they actually sent me a letter. It seems to be common practice these days to just not call back, as I've seen with some other companies.
Too bad, I was looking forward to working for them. On the other hand, I currently have 6 applications in with companies in KC, St. Louis, one in Oklahoma, and another in Madison, Wisconsin. Steve is also going to see if he can get me an email address to throw my resumé up to in Colorado. Apparently he's really enjoying working for Raytheon, and enjoying my job is really all I ask for.
As for non-job oriented things, first of all, St. Pat's was a ton of fun. It was small, laid back, relaxed, and I enjoyed it a lot. Some barbecuing, some relaxation, and a little bit of quality time at the range...
Warning, pics linked to below are large, and may frighten small children, or people who know me.

Trying out a friend's target rifle
My first shots with a .45. That is actually a WWII 1911 from the Pacific Theater.
I had some fun over Spring Break as well, taking a trip to Ohio to see friends at the University of Miami - Ohio. Good college town, always lots of fun to visit. We ran around a bit, drove to Cincinatti to check out a comedian, as well as check out the local bar scene. We ended up at a wine bar on Mount ?Adams?, which is what they call a big hill with the popular nightspots on it.
Cool place
In the intervening time, I have been working on finding a job, research for the thesis thing (parts of which I should get started on writing), and projects/homeworks for my NetCentric Security and Reliability class. In my spare time, I've been forging knives, fishing, and generally enjoying the spring.
That's pretty much all for now.
