I seem to make posts with this title with disturbing regularity.
First off, there's my machine. This computer is now officially on it's last legs. The PSU fan is dead, one of the harddrives failed on me, and it's only going to get tougher to maintain. So I get to build a new one sometime soon. Recovery of the drive was accomplished using GetDataBack for NTFS. It worked really well, and it's actually software I would (I have) payed for.
On a slightly more personal note, I have some kind of bacterial infection in my voicebox. This makes talking painful, and not particularly pleasant to hear. On the upside, I get to be quiet. I'm going to go to bed and die now.

tea with lots of honey, high proof whiskey/bourbon, and lemon. It's the miracle cure for an ailing voicebox. Alternatively, a shot of brandy mixed with enough honey to make it syrupy also works well. Medicine going down and all that...
